Wastewater Treatment and Reuse

Discharge compliance and water savings together

Wastewater Treatment and Reuse

With biological treatment, MBR and advanced treatment we bring wastewater to discharge limits and reuse quality.

Project-based quote

Wastewater treatment is not just a legal obligation; every cubic metre recovered lowers both the water bill and the discharge fee. To meet discharge limits under the Water Pollution Control Regulation we characterise your wastewater and build the right process chain.

Solutions

  • Physical/chemical treatment: equalisation, coagulation, flocculation and settling; for textile dyehouses and metal plating.
  • Biological treatment (activated sludge, MBBR): for food, hotel and residential wastewater.
  • Membrane bioreactor (MBR): compact footprint, high-quality effluent; for reuse.
  • Advanced treatment: UF, RO and UV for return to process water.

Our packaged treatment units from 10 to 500 m³/day are built in the factory and commissioned on site in two to four weeks. Reuse rates of up to 60% have been achieved at textile plants.

Scope of service

  • Activated sludge, MBBR, MBR
  • 10-500 m³/day packaged plants
  • Up to 60% reuse

Frequently asked questions

How much reject water does a reverse osmosis unit produce?
Standard units produce about 3 litres of reject water per litre of pure water. In our pumped and tankless models this falls to 1:1. Reject water can be used for cleaning and irrigation.
How long does installation take?
Under-sink units are installed in 1.5 to 2 hours. A whole-house inlet filter and softener take three to five hours. Industrial systems are commissioned in 2 to 12 weeks depending on capacity.
When should I change filters?
Sediment filters are replaced at six months, carbon filters at 6-12 months and the RO membrane at 24-36 months. The device display and SMS reminder tell you when maintenance is due.
How long is the warranty on home units?
Home units have a three-year warranty and industrial systems two years. Consumables such as filters and membranes are outside warranty; we also commit to ten years of spare-part supply.
Which system suits well water?
A first analysis for iron, manganese, hardness and microbiology is needed. Typically a sand/carbon inlet filter, softener and UV sterilisation are used together; reverse osmosis is added for drinking water.
