Çorlu OIZ's shared treatment plant combines a large equalisation basin balancing wastewater from different sectors, chemical treatment, activated sludge and advanced oxidation. While meeting regulatory discharge limits, each factory is billed by its own pollution load.
A sludge dewatering unit cut sludge volume by 80% and reduced haulage costs.
